TOMORROW'S WORK FORCE PROGRAM 2012
The 2012 Tomorrow's Work Force Luncheon will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the Centre.
The Tomorrow's Work Force program is a partnership between tri-state leaders and businesses and the Catholic high schools, Mater Dei and Reitz Memorial High Schools, to further the educational opportunities of the community's high school students. The support of business and industry is critical to the continued success of our young people as our students will be the future business and community leaders.
The Tomorrow's Work Force program assists in three main areas of support:
Technology, Science & Faculty Development
The 2012 Tomorrow's Work Force Luncheon keynote speaker will be Mr. Bill Stone of SS&C Technologies. In addition, fifteen students from Mater Dei will be recognized as Leadership Award recipients. This honor is based on a minimum GPA of honors status or above, student involvement in athletics or activities and an essay portion which answers the question, "How has my Mater Dei High School education prepared me for life after high school - academically, socially, spiritually? How has my high school education prepared me to be a leader?"
Tickets and sponsorships for 2012 will be available in July 2012. To join the Tomorrow's Work Force and attend the luncheon, call Sarah Wagner at 421-5727 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
