All seniors have registered for Parchment, an on-line transcript service. This service will enhance college application procedures. Mrs. Reneer meets with senior classes to help students create their personal Parchment accounts in order to request transcripts be sent electronically to colleges and universities. If parents or students have any questions, please contact Mrs. Shea Reneer.
Students may choose either of two test options, the ACT Assessment or the ACT Assessment Plus Writing which includes a 30-minute writing test. Check with the colleges you are considering or go to www.actstudent.org for a list of institutions that require or recommend the writing test. Score reports are normally mailed 4-7 weeks after the test date. Reports for ACT Assessment Plus Writing will be mailed when all scores, including writing, are available.
Test booklets are located in the college room, or you can apply online. Please make sure to request that your scores are sent to Mater Dei High School as well as possible college choices. Our school code is 150970. If you don’t include this code when you register for the SAT or ACT, your scores will not be sent to Mater Dei. We include these scores as part of your transcript when you apply to colleges.
*100% of Mater Dei juniors took the test. SAT scores changed from 2400 to 1600 format
Mater Dei SAT and ACT scores consistently remain higher than Indiana and national averages each year.
